Mia's Birth Story

Mia
7.8.10 12:42 pm
7 lbs 10 oz
21 inches
Proud parents: Eveline and Kelii
and little sister to Emi and Kenji

I feel so honored and blessed to have been chosen to photograph baby Mia's birth. I was so excited when Eveline contacted me. It doesn't seem so long ago that I had Lucy and I was beyond thrilled to document their beautiful baby girl entering this world. We didn't have a photographer at Lucy's birth and that is the only thing I would change about her delivery.

It felt very familiar being in the delivery room with Eveline and Kelii's, but a totally different and beautiful experience. Words can't express enough how moving it was for me to share this time with them and so I will let the pictures do the talking.

Thank you Eveline and Kelii for having me share Mia's delivery with you.
She is absolutely beautiful.

If you want to see more pictures, Eveline created a slide show here.
Eveline is a pretty talented photographer herself (and shares my love of the Contax!) check out her blog and some cute photographs of Mia!

Lindsey, these are beautiful! That was a regret of mine as well, to not have Westin's birth photographed. These are just perfect.
